:Joys of Spring:

The fields and ditches are filled with flocks around here. Yesterday, I went out just to take pictures of the flowers. I always wonder what people think of me when they see me out in the ditch taking pictures:). I don't really care what they think. This one guy stopped yesterday and said not to get too close to the flowers cause they were shy- not really sure the meaning.

I was trying to catch a sun flare, but I don't really know how. I just mess around and see what I can get.

These were out at the grass strip at the Williston Airport.

In the ditch on 326. I wish I could get in this field because that brown stuff would be so much fun to work with.

I love the red flocks, but they are kinda' hard to find.

This rose bush is producing beautiful flowers.

When I saw these pictures it reminded me of this verse...

"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." Isaiah 40:8

I hope all of y'all have a great week!

::PI projects::

Here are two pictures from a project I had to do with my Photography Institute classes...

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from this weekend. I was so busy I didn't have time to take any pictures:(. On Saturday morning the Tri- County Pregnancy Center had their annual Clay Shoot. I got up at an insane hour especially for Saturday- 5:45. We had to get things ready since registration was suppose to start at 7. Of course no one was there at 7, but that was a good thing since we weren't ready. Joy and I did all the registering together and it was fun to get to work with Joy. Once the shoot started we had some time before all the guys came back and wanted their scores counted. Joy also helped with that along with three other people on and off. We then got to enjoy some REALLY good food then came clean up. I got home a little after one and Joy and I turned around at two to go to the church and get things ready for the picnic at church. The picnic went really well and I had fun playing with the 6-11 year old boys and girls along with Joy. Those kids wore me out and I definitely got my exercise for the day:). The kids had SO much fun and they were stilling talking about it today. I also got to play a little volleyball at the end which was fun. Anna stayed Saturday night and helped me clean up at the church. By the end of the day I was whooped! Someone was really nice though and brought me an ice cold Mountain Dew. It was a great save of the day:). Okay, enough rambling!

May I have this dance?

These two were so hilarious together! The introduction to the Thunderbirds was this really upbeat music that played over and over for at least ten minutes. You would seriously think that these two are taking dance lessons because they were excellent! Most of the time they were doing it by themselves, but they did come together at one point. They had us all laughing:).

A tribute to the men and women serving overseas in the military. I love how patriotic the show is. I have a TON more picture I could post, but I think I'll stop with these!

These things they set off as the plane went over looked seriously real.

Too close for comfort...

...and they made it.

::Sun n' Fun pt. 1::

I think this year was my favorite year at Sun n' Fun. One of the reasons being that the weather was totally great! It was cloudy, but it didn't effect the view and it wasn't too hot. It was the first year that I didn't leave with a splitting headache.

The kiddos hangn' in the wagon. They refused to look my direction, but I'm cool with that.

The fam

Wasn't a fan of the name:)

This was so cool to watch fall from the sky!

There are more pictures to come.

because life is too short....

Here's just a quick note to my awesome family reading this. I love y'all! Most of the time I don't say the words "I love you", but I hope all of you know that I do. Y'all are all special to me in your own way. I love having a big family and I wouldn't trade any of y'all for the world. Y'all are my best friends that I know I can always count on. You're wonderful examples to me and I get to watch you and see how life works. We can laugh together and cry together. I know none of you will ever do anything to hurt me or betray me. I wish we all lived close together, but even though we don't we can still be "close". I am SO thankful for the family God gave me and I want y'all to know that. Love you guys!

getting started...

So, I finally did it...I started a blog! We'll see how good I am at updating this thing.
Here is a sneak preview of some pictures from Sun n' Fun...
