summer evening

Back in May, we spent the evening at Cedar Key. Riley liked watching the boats come in and get loaded on boat trailers.

I'm not sure what Riley was exclaiming over but it was cute.

Weston's party

Saturday we had both sets of grandparents over to celebrate Weston's birthday.

So I am not a cake decorator AT ALL and two minutes in I was ready to give up. My sweet husband wasn't going to let that happen and encouraged me along. I did realize later that I did forget an essential part of the fox but oh well!

Weston turns one + Father's Day

My baby boy is 1 years old today! I just can't even believe it. I am so blessed to have the Lord give us with another sweet baby boy. 

One year ago today, I woke up very unaware of the fact that he would be born that night. It was a normal Saturday where I was wishing for more sleep but with Matt working and a 22 month old that didn't happen. :)

I didn't think he would be such a good little boy and come on his due date. I was so happy for Riley to get a little brother.

This little boy now takes steps and is a climber!  

 He can now open cabinets and get into a lot of trouble! 

So he didn't eat a whole lot of the cupcake but he did love smashing it.

I am also very thankful for the daddy to my boys! He loves his boys so much and they are never a burden for him. He is always offering to take the boys somewhere or for me to go run errands so I can get a break. He's teaching Weston how to walk and he's trying to teach him some sign language. I love watching his times with just Riley at night drinking milk and talking. I always love hearing about Riley's prayers every night too.
