5 months & more

Riley is now 5-1/2 months and is growing and changing every day. He rolls over all the time and can get where he wants to go by rolling there. It's amazing how quick he caught on! He sits up pretty well and stands holding on to things. He also loves to spit...don't ask where he learned that from cause I don't know. :) It's hard not to spoil him because he's so sweet and cute (most of the time).

 

These first five pictures were taken the day he turned 5 months.

 

I love his expression in this one!

 

He usually manages to kick at least one sock off.

  

One day when we were outside enjoying the hammock, Riley decided to take a little nap!

First Day of the Year

It was so nice to have Matt home with all the holidays at the end of December. On New Year's Day, we went to St. Augustine for the day. When we walked around the fort, it happened to be the time that they were shooting off the cannons.

 

 

On top of the wall, is where we got engaged almost two years prior to this picture.

 

 We had lunch at the Florida Cracker that is right along the old cobble road downtown. They had amazing food!

 

 We then went to visit the beach.

 

Riley didn't like the cold water on his toes!

 

He did love the sand though and tried to eat it! He's such a little Florida boy.

All tuckered out.

December

 

Since I'm so behind on posting, I decided to just put all of December in one post. December was a full month and went by too fast for us! We went to 2 Christmas parties, then hosted 1 Christmas party, went to 2 Christmas parades, celebrated Matt's birthday, did lots of baking, attended 2 funerals in the church, then Riley met one of his uncle's for 1st time and he celebrated his 1st Christmas!

Riley was chillin' out while Matt and I wrapped Christmas presents.

I picked the wrong time to try to get pictures of Riley in front of the tree. We had just gotten home from church and he was NOT in the mood for pictures!

Matt and I ended up sick Christmas Eve so we didn't get over to our families houses until later in the day on Christmas. So, I really don't have any pictures from Christmas Day. :(

I just love pictures of babies sleeping! I thought it was cute how he was sleeping with his hand behind his head.
