December 2015

I wasn't the best at taking pictures, with my camera, in December during all of our Christmas festivities.
We had the gingerbread house for a year, because we had forgotten to make it the year before, and Riley asked all the time when we would make it. He was so excited when the day came that we built it.
There was lots of snitching going on from the littlest guy. :)

In December, we found out we are having a girl! The boys got to come to the ultrasound with us. Riley was pretty entertained by it and Weston just kept wondering if mommy was okay.

We opened our presents on Christmas Eve. It's so fun seeing the boys so excited over their new stuff. Riley opened one present and thought he was done.

Christmas Eve tradition now is to spend it at Joe and Amanda's with family, fun, and a bonfire. This year we didn't spend too much time around the bonfire since it was so warm.
 Corn hole game going on.

The boys really weren't in the mood for pictures so some gummies helped us be able to snap a couple of pictures.

Vermont trip

In January we went on vacation to Vermont with Matt's brothers, parents, and youngest sister. We had a lot of fun on the trip, despite our car accident.

 Our beautiful view!

These two cuties were having fun putting stickers on each other.
All ready to go sledding! Riley and Jonah had SO much fun together and they both loved sledding.

The cold really didn't bother this little guy and we would have to make him come in from the cold.

Weston wasn't so excited about the cold or sledding. :)

The next couple of pictures were taken on the road where we had our car accident, before it happened.

This man, my man, is so amazing. He balances me out so well and is my calm when I'm freaking out and visa versa. When we took this picture we didn't know what would happen in the next 2 minutes. It was such a reminder of how we don't know what a day will hold and how important it is to have the Lord on your side. I was also reminded that day of how when something goes bad it's so easy to just go "WHY?" and all you see is the giant bad thing in your life. What it showed me though was how God has blessed us. Every single day he has blessed us with so many different things. He even blessed in this situation with protection and with other things that came from it.
Our car accident was the scariest experience of my life and I am so incredibly grateful for the Lord's protection over us.
Our family was so helpful after the accident and we were so thankful to have them with us during that time. (BTW, the car wasn't moving at the time of this picture. :) )

 morning snuggles
One day we spent at an indoor water park at the ski resort. It was crazy to be inside all nice and warm and see snow on the ground outside. The kids really loved the place and it was so nice that they had stuff for all ages to be able to have fun.

baby girl -- 24, 26, & 28 weeks

So, as always, I'm super behind on blogging. I'm now 32 weeks with baby girl and can't wait to meet her in (hopefully) 8 weeks! I haven't done a veggie/fruit picture the last couple of weeks but hope to do one this week.

This was a memorable week as I had pink eye for the first time ever. There was no looking at the camera that week. :)

I'm having a lot of fun doing the baby's nursery! It's coming along little by little. The last big project is to paint the crib.
