little man already for a cold day outside... Riley is such a little man... Weston knows what the camera is all about...

Weston -- 6 months

These pictures were taken last Sunday when Weston turned six months.

 He is generally such a happy guy but he's been more fussy lately as he's cutting teeth.

He sits up very well on his own and once got up as if he was trying to crawl. Right now he rolls wherever he wants to go.

After taking Weston's pictures, Riley hopped in the chair and said, "Riley's turn"! 

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was a busy, fun filled day with lots of gift to open and yummy food to eat!

Baby Weston's first Christmas. He was such a big boy and sat on his own very well while we opened gifts.

He liked the wrapping paper and loved eating it. :)

He also liked eating the wrapped candy canes.

Christmas around our house

I like seeing other people's Christmas decor so I thought I would post pictures of our house at Christmas.

I found this gold chevron fabric that I really like so I made some short strands of garland for the tree.

I bought this sled at a yard sale and I'm so happy that Matt had spotted it and told me about it.

One of the new trees I made this year. This one is made from a cereal box. :)

Weston -- 5 months

 I took these the day after Weston turned five months. I've had some issues with getting things to post so I just forgot about it with the business of the past weeks.

Little boy is growing up and working on his first two teeth.

last week was an accident prone week for Riley... out with the two boys shopping and lunch... out for dinner with the boys... little man wanted to rock next to me while I put the baby to sleep

This past week has been very long with Matt not getting home until the boys about ready for bed. I'm glad it's over and hopefully that won't happen again for a long time.

Weston -- 4 months

Little Weston turned four months old yesterday. We love our little boy so much! He loves his big brother and is quick to smile and laugh at him. Riley was actually the one entertaining him in these pictures. 

beach trip

We enjoyed a weekend trip to Daytona Beach last month. We found a great deal on a hotel that was right on the beach. Matt got off work early on Friday which gave us three days together. With Matt working six days a week, three out of four weeks a month, it is a treat to have him with us on Saturday and to have him for three days was so nice! Even the weekends that Matt doesn't work Saturday, if we stay home we end up with a booked weekend and don't really get to spend time just being together.

This little guy just liked being held and didn't care anything about the beach at this point.

Matt dug a hole for Riley to sit in. 

Riley absolutely LOVED the water and was pretty much fearless. We had someone stop and ask us if he's always been that way at the water because they said he seemed so confident. Our first beach trip this year he wasn't crazy over the water but the more we've gone, the more he has grown to love it.

Riley wanted to bury Matt it the sand like Matt had buried him. It didn't work out so good though. :)

He has gotten really good at swimming as well and really enjoyed being in the pool.
