stories of Riley

So I've been meaning to post stories about Riley on here so I have somewhere I can refer back to when I can't remember these off hand.

Riley & The Locust:
When we are at the table eating, it is very common for Riley to be concerned about the fact that Weston isn't eating at the table too. He will often stick out his cup, say "milk" and offer it to Weston. He will also take his fork or spoon, filled with food, point it at Weston and say "eat". This particular morning we were eating breakfast and Riley spotted a locust on the window. He picked up his milk cup, pointed it at the locust and said "milk". He then picked up his spoon and offered the locust cereal. Apparently he is concerned about feeding all of God's creation. :)

Riley & The Bear:
Riley has this little blue teddy bear that he has grown to love and likes to sleep with. It grew from sleeping with the bear to putting the bear on his trike and pushing it around the house. Then the other day he was having the bear sit next to him while he played cars. Every time the bear fell over he would say "sit" and try to get the bear to sit. He took the bear to the window and was showing it the cat. It was cute cause he was treating the bear like a little person and wanted it to participate in everything he did, including helping me make muffins.

Riley & Kissing:
Riley is kinda' obsessed with kissing things these days and often wants to kiss our cat goodnight. While we were away this weekend he had fun driving his cars on the a/c in the hotel room and also sometimes adjusting the temperature. We were getting ready to go out one afternoon and told Riley were going to leave for a little bit. He first waved and said "bye" to the a/c, then ran back and kissed it. Apparently one kiss wasn't enough and it ended with, I think, three. :) He always has to kiss Weston at naps and night time. Sometimes once isn't enough and will ask several times until you say it's enough. I think sometimes maybe it's a way to stay up a little longer.
