Chloe Bliss

Chloe has now been with us for almost 2 months. Looking back at these pictures makes me realize how fast she is growing. The boys are still so in love with her and haven't lost their fascination with her. If she's on the floor she's pretty much never alone. If she's in her bed, she may or may not be alone. :) They give her lots of hugs and kisses and ask to hold her throughout the day.

We are thankful that everything went well and labor was quick.

It always makes my heart skip a beat to see Matt holding his baby for the first time. He is so amazing and always helps get me through labor. Seriously I can't imagine doing it without him!

She surprised me by coming 12 days early. I thought she would come early but didn't expect it quite that early.

She weighed 6lbs. 8oz. and was 19" long.

They both wanted to watch daddy take care of baby Chloe's diaper. :) I couldn't decide if I liked color or black and white better so I posted both.

Our sweet little angel. She has been such a good baby! I think she sleeps the best out of my children.

Weston turns two!

My baby boy turned 2 today! He is such a little sweetheart. He is a very rascally little boy who I think gets into more trouble than his big brother did at this age. :) He has given me many heart attacks! I love his relationship with Riley. Tonight I went in their room to check on them, after they had been put to bed, and they were sitting in Riley's bed reading books. He wants to do everything his brother does and for the most part they get along really well. When they do fight Weston can definitely hold his own. He also is so in love with Chloe. He loves to hold her and give her hugs and kisses. He has gotten into copying people. You will be carrying on a conversation with someone and Weston will be repeating what you say.

Were getting these boys ready to do some fishing this summer.

He loved his "tootle" cake. We have a turtle that comes through our yard a lot so he's gotten in to turtles.
I love this little boy so much and I didn't want to see the day end because he is now a year older.

December 2015

I wasn't the best at taking pictures, with my camera, in December during all of our Christmas festivities.
We had the gingerbread house for a year, because we had forgotten to make it the year before, and Riley asked all the time when we would make it. He was so excited when the day came that we built it.
There was lots of snitching going on from the littlest guy. :)

In December, we found out we are having a girl! The boys got to come to the ultrasound with us. Riley was pretty entertained by it and Weston just kept wondering if mommy was okay.

We opened our presents on Christmas Eve. It's so fun seeing the boys so excited over their new stuff. Riley opened one present and thought he was done.

Christmas Eve tradition now is to spend it at Joe and Amanda's with family, fun, and a bonfire. This year we didn't spend too much time around the bonfire since it was so warm.
 Corn hole game going on.

-- Christmas Day pictures --

The boys really weren't in the mood for pictures so some gummies helped us be able to snap a couple of pictures.

Vermont trip

In January we went on vacation to Vermont with Matt's brothers, parents, and youngest sister. We had a lot of fun on the trip, despite our car accident.

 Our beautiful view!

These two cuties were having fun putting stickers on each other.
All ready to go sledding! Riley and Jonah had SO much fun together and they both loved sledding.

The cold really didn't bother this little guy and we would have to make him come in from the cold.

Weston wasn't so excited about the cold or sledding. :)

The next couple of pictures were taken on the road where we had our car accident, before it happened.

This man, my man, is so amazing. He balances me out so well and is my calm when I'm freaking out and visa versa. When we took this picture we didn't know what would happen in the next 2 minutes. It was such a reminder of how we don't know what a day will hold and how important it is to have the Lord on your side. I was also reminded that day of how when something goes bad it's so easy to just go "WHY?" and all you see is the giant bad thing in your life. What it showed me though was how God has blessed us. Every single day he has blessed us with so many different things. He even blessed in this situation with protection and with other things that came from it.
Our car accident was the scariest experience of my life and I am so incredibly grateful for the Lord's protection over us.
Our family was so helpful after the accident and we were so thankful to have them with us during that time. (BTW, the car wasn't moving at the time of this picture. :) )

 morning snuggles
One day we spent at an indoor water park at the ski resort. It was crazy to be inside all nice and warm and see snow on the ground outside. The kids really loved the place and it was so nice that they had stuff for all ages to be able to have fun.
