bridal shower

To address my sister Susan, I really hope that I do a better job at blogging as a married woman than I am doing right now. My problem isn't that I just haven't been blogging, but that I've neglected to pick up the camera. It's terribly sad!!

Moving on... here are some pictures of my bridal shower. I seriously couldn't believe that this was my shower and that I was actually the one sitting up there! I do showers all the time so it was very strange to be on the receiving end. I really like how they opened up for people to share advice. All of it was great and I'm sure I'm going to need it. We were given so many things and have been so blessed by our families and church family.

Ellen gave us her first crosstich -- I totally love it!! Btw, it's already up in our house. :)

I had lots of helpers!

Those who decorated did a beautiful job...

 Oh and the food... amazing!

So, now I'm getting married in two weeks and I'm totally thrilled!!!!! Time really has flown by for me which is nice. I feel like I'm on the home stretch with all the things I had to do for the wedding. I can actually see the floor in my room now and I had almost forgotten the color of the carpet. I'm also thankful that my fiance has a job again! That was a huge answer to prayer. He was extremely encouraged and upbeat through the whole process which really helped. Now, I believe it is safe to say that the next time I post on here, I will be married!

P.S. Thank you to Charity and Anna for manning my camera for the day.

I'm so far behind on blogging that I'm not going to apologize because I have a strong feeling this isn't the last time. It was very nice to have a long weekend off work and not doing wedding stuff! It's not that I don't like my job or doing wedding stuff, obviously I do, but it's nice having a break.

July 2nd -- Since July 3rd was on a Sunday, Williston did all their events on the 2nd. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera for the parade. :( I've always had a bad memory, but it seems much worse these days. After the parade, Matt and I went to Katie's house for dinner and then went with Joy and Ryan to the fireworks. This year, we sat inside to watch the fireworks and we could see everything! Their DJ needed a lot of help, but the fireworks were great. The leaving part...we won't talk about. :)

I love this child's blue eyes!

It took a while to get the burst of light right, but this was my favorite picture of the night.Of course the subject is amazing.;)

July 4th -- we had Mae and Joseph here this year added to the family around here. It was a beautiful day and it was filled with good memories.

Caden's first time to ride a bike. He did a great job on his cousin's bike.

Layne wanted to wear my jewelry.

And football...

and the observers...

Stacia was loving this, but I'm not sure about Jenny Kate.

Pumpkin looked so grown up with this hair do.

"Guess Who" was played countless times that day by kids and adults.

Waiting on it to get dark at the Ocala fireworks.

Evania has grown up since the first time I saw her at two weeks old!

Same day, just change of clothes. :)

*sparklers*

Even though the traffic was so backed up and went on for forever, it didn't take long to get out of there.

memorial day ---

Memorial Day weekend was a lot of fun. Lots of time with Matt! It was nice to see Tj and Susan and Daniel and Christy. We had good visits, fun shopping trip, great food :), and fun doing wedding stuff. We were able to work on wedding projects on Monday afternoon and got a lot accomplished.

The kids always love playing in the sand...

Attempting to blow bubbles:)

And there is ALWAYS a football game... wouldn't be a family gathering without it.

These two didn't really get along, but they had on cute matching dresses.

My man and I...

People eating ice cream, throwing football, talking, laughing, planting flowers...

This little girl loves "Mac"! She is so good at pronouncing words, but she still calls Matt - "Mac". It's so cute!

Olivia just wanted to drink the bubbles :).
